A Look Inside of the Mazda CX-3 Interior Features
Following the beautiful Mazda Kodo Design philosophy, the Mazda CX-3 is a bold and timeless small SUV with a range of features that move beyond being an enjoyable drive. With a well-crafted combination of driver-assist technologies and connectivity options, the Mazda CX-3 has helped to reform the passenger car industry. This blog will be opening up the doors on the CX-3 and giving you a deeper look into some of the interesting interior features you can expect to find when you get behind the wheel.Â
Modern DashÂ
The Mazda CX-3 interior features a 7 inch LCD screen in the middle of the modern-looking dash, which has a touchscreen functionality when the car is in a stationary position. When you’re on the go, this screen can be utilised with the MZD Connect jog wheel situated on the centre console. If you’re someone who always needs to be connected, the sat nav and hands-free connectivity in the Mazda CX-3 is something to really take full advantage of.Â
The steering wheel also features three spokes giving you a more modern and sporty look. Just in front of the wheel as you look at it is the Active Driving Display, which is Mazda’s name for its heads-up display. Fortunately, its representation of the changing speed limits (thanks to its traffic sign recognition) and specific navigation waypoints are both clear and simple to use.Â
Trim Level OptionsÂ
Currently, the five-door CX-3 is offered in four grades for the front-wheel-drive variant: the Neo Sport, Maxx Sport, sTouring, and Akari. The all-wheel-drive variant offers the top three grades, with the Neo Sport being excluded.Â
In terms of the interior trim, the base CX-3 Neo Sport and the Maxx Sport have a black cloth trim. You can take this up a notch with the added Black Maztex/black cloth interior trim of the sTouring model. For the Akari model, you have the choice of either a black or pure white leather interior trim, which does include Maztex material on some select high impact surfaces.Â
The Akari model also offers more comfort for those chilly winter days with the added bonus of heated front seats, making those early morning commutes a little more bearable.Â
Boot SpaceÂ
In the back of the CX-3, you have the compact 264L of boot space, which can expand to 1174L with the back seats folded down. You’ll easily be able to fit the weekly groceries in the boot, and could pick up a couple of small bits of furniture when the seats are folded. The rear seats themselves are more suited towards smaller kids, as taller adults may find themselves a bit cramped in the back. However, this also makes the Mazda CX-3 in Perth perfect for a young couple who won’t necessarily make much use of substantial boot space.Â
