The fabric on the interior of the doors uses fibres from recycled plastic bottles. Plastic waste is a global concern, and Mazda creates one small solution to assist with recycling plastic through the composition of ‘breathing’ fabric for the inner doors of the MX-30.
Vegan leather
The high-quality leather-look finish you expect from Mazda is effortlessly provided through the premium vintage leatherette. Mazda’s top-quality vegan leather is soft to the touch, and printed with a classic vintage leather pattern to be pleasing to the eye. The use of this vegan leather for the interior reduces the environmental footprint of the production of this car.
Cork linings
To further minimise the impact on the environment, Mazda utilises cork in the car’s cabin of the MX-30. Cork comes from the bark of cork oak trees, meaning it can be collected from the same trees over and over. A special coating on the cork improves durability while accentuating the natural characteristics of the cork.
The cork linings around the centre console also take it back to the roots of the company. The Toyo Kogyo cork company made cork back in 1920 before diversifying into engineering. This small nod to the past also adds something a little special to the Mazda MX-30.
Unique design

Technology
Two screens
Two screens in the front of the vehicle make connecting and interacting with the car quick and simple for an intuitive driver experience. The Active Driving heads-up display shares key information conveniently in the line of sight of the driver.
The 7-inch touchscreen down by the gear lever manages climate control, heating and the ventilation system.
